Krystina earned her Masters of Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2016 from Texas A&M University Kingsville. She received her undergraduate degree in Communications with a minor in Journalism from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2009. She is certified by the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in the state of Texas to practice Speech-Langauge Pathology.
Krystina has experience working in a variety of clinical settings including pediatric outpatient hospitals, private practices, LTAC, ABA clinics, and home health before starting her own private practice.
She moved from South Texas to Houston in 2018. Krystina is married with two children, both of who experienced speech difficulties with stuttering, giving her first-hand experience to share with her families that are experiencing the same difficulties.
Krystina and her family enjoy playing soccer, watching professional soccer, and supporting the Houston Dynamo FC. They are big fans and make it to every game they can!
A Pediatric Speech Spectrum is privately owned and operated by Krystina Perez, a Speech-Language Pathologist with 10 years of experience, dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children and their families. Krystina provides therapy based on a commitment to dignity, trust, and building meaningful connections with every patient. She specializes in empowering caregivers and parents with the tools they need to support each child's independent growth and communication.
