Speech & Language Evaluations
A Pediatric Speech Spectrum provides comprehensive speech, language, and fluency (stuttering) evaluations to assess each child’s unique needs and determine the most effective individualized plan for their communication development. Our evaluations cover a wide range of areas, including articulation, receptive and expressive language, social communication, and fluency disorders. We also assess for additional language-based disorders, such as pragmatic language difficulties, to ensure a thorough understanding of each child’s strengths and challenges. This detailed process allows us to create targeted treatment plans that foster meaningful progress in therapy and everyday life.
Parent consultations
(non-therapy service)
We provide 30-minute parent consultations, either in person or via video call, to support families with their child’s speech and language development. These sessions offer practical strategies, resources, and answers to questions when therapy isn't an option. Consultations are specifically designed for clients who do not have insurance coverage, empowering parents to participate actively at home using learned strategies.
Please note, parent consultations are a private pay service and not covered by insurance.
Private Speech Therapy sessions
Private Speech Therapy sessions are thoughtfully tailored to meet each child's unique needs, ensuring personalized and effective support. These sessions are 30 minutes in length. By focusing on individualized care, we strive to make high-quality therapy accessible and impactful for every family. An evaluation session is required prior to the start of therapy services.
Speech Generating Devices
for Alternative Augmentative Communication
In addition to our core therapy offerings, A Pediatric Speech Spectrum specializes in supporting children who benefit from speech generating devices (SGDs) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems. We guide families through the entire process, including obtaining funding or insurance authorization for devices, custom programming to meet each child’s communication needs, and providing comprehensive training for both children and their caregivers. Our team ensures that every child has the tools and support necessary to communicate effectively, empowering them to participate more fully in daily life and social interactions.
